ADHD Support
You Are Not Lazy. The System You Were Handed Was Built for a Different Brain.
Support for teenagers, college students and adults who have spent years being told they have so much potential — and who are tired of hearing it. We work on focus and follow-through without pretending willpower is the missing ingredient.

What Usually Brings People Here
- A task that takes twenty minutes sitting undone for eleven days.
- Starting five things well and finishing none of them.
- Time that behaves strangely — either now or not real.
- A phone, a tab, a thought, and forty minutes gone.
- Being sharp in conversation and unable to answer one email.
- The shame that rides along, which is usually the heaviest part.
Plenty of the students and adults I see were never assessed, or were assessed years ago and told to try harder. Counseling is not a diagnostic evaluation and I will be straight with you about that — but it is where the day-to-day cost of it gets addressed.
How We Work on It
CBT does real work here, aimed less at mood and more at the story underneath the missed deadline: that you are unreliable, that everyone else got a manual. We test that against the evidence and then build around how your attention actually behaves.
Then the practical layer — starting rituals, externalized time, tasks cut down to a size your brain will accept, and a weekly structure you did not have to white-knuckle into place. Small, testable, revised out loud when it does not work.
You stay in control of the plan. I will tell you honestly when I think a strategy is not earning its keep.

Structure is not a personality transplant. It is scaffolding you get to take down later.
Eight Years in Schools
Applied behavior analysis, before private practice — and it changed how I work with teenagers.
Before I opened this practice I spent eight years doing ABA work in a school setting. That is eight years of watching what actually shifts behavior in a real classroom on a real Tuesday, with a real teenager who has already decided this is pointless. It taught me to look for what happens right before and right after a behavior instead of moralizing about it, to make a plan concrete enough that a tired family can follow it, and to notice progress in increments most people miss.
For a parent choosing a counselor for a teenager, that background is the part worth knowing. I am not easily rattled by what a teenager brings, and I do not mistake an eye-roll for a lack of interest.
For Parents
You have probably been managing this for years: the emails from school, the homework standoff, the fear that you are either too hard or not hard enough. Your teenager gets their own hour, and what they say in it is theirs. What you get is a clinician who will tell you plainly what she is seeing and what is likely to help at home.
For Students and Adults
A semester or a job can go sideways fast when nothing you were taught about studying or planning was designed for you. We start with the week in front of you — sleep, starting, the assignment you have been circling — and build from something that worked rather than from a system you will abandon by Thursday.

Structure that fits how your attention actually behaves — not how someone told you it should.
Bring the Whole Messy Week
Start with a free consultation. Tell me where things keep falling apart, and I will tell you honestly whether I think this work would help.
