College Station
Online Therapy for College Station
College Station revolves around Texas A&M, its traditions and its pressures. Online counseling fits into that world, for students and for the parents watching from home.

Big Campus, Big Expectations
Texas A&M is a huge university with deep traditions: the Corps of Cadets, Midnight Yell, the 12th Man and game days at Kyle Field. Being part of that can feel amazing. It can also come with pressure to love every minute, to keep up in demanding majors, and to fit into a culture that seems to know exactly who it is.
If you are struggling with anxiety, homesickness, grades or the feeling that everyone else has it figured out, you are not failing at college. You are carrying a lot, and it is worth talking about.
When the Semester Gets Heavy
Students in Bryan and College Station juggle a lot: exams, labs, jobs, relationships and, for some, the demands of the Corps. Sleep gets shorter, focus gets harder, and small worries grow. If attention and follow-through are part of the struggle, my ADHD page explains how I approach focus without shame.
Sessions are fifty minutes by secure video, so you can meet from your dorm, a reserved room or a parked car between classes. Students at Blinn College in Bryan can meet the same way.
Out-of-State Students and Breaks
Aggies come from all over Texas and beyond. If you are from another state, here is the key rule: you need to be physically in Texas during each session, because my license is in Texas. While you are in College Station, we can meet regularly. Head home to another state for winter break or the summer, and our sessions wait for your return.
We can plan for those breaks ahead of time so they do not feel like a cliff, and pick up again when the semester starts.

You do not have to love every minute of college for it to be going okay. You just need a place to be honest about the hard parts.
For Parents Watching From Home
If your student is at A&M, you may be juggling pride with worry, especially when calls get shorter or grades slip. My four children are all in college right now, so this season is familiar from the parent side too. My guide on whether your college student is depressed or just stressed can help you sort out what you are seeing.
An adult student reaches out for themselves. And if you want support of your own, my page on therapy for parents of college students is for you.
Bryan and the Wider Brazos Valley
Not everyone here is a student. If you live in Bryan or elsewhere in the Brazos Valley, working, raising a family or caring for a parent, you can meet by video too. Life in a college town can feel like it revolves around a calendar that is not yours, with game-day traffic, move-in weeks and a population that turns over every spring.
Whatever your connection to the area, the work is the same: an hour that is about you, from a private space you choose.
What We Can Work On
The concerns I help with include anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationships, grief, transitions and stress. My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy with a client-centered stance, and Christian counseling is available for students who want faith included.
There is no office near campus; the practice is entirely online. My page on online therapy anywhere in Texas has the statewide details, and therapy for college students covers student life more broadly.
Common Questions
- Is online counseling private if I have a roommate?
- It can be. Headphones, a closed door or a reserved study room help, and a parked car works well too. What matters is that you can talk without being overheard.
- Can I keep meeting with you over the summer if I stay in College Station?
- Yes. As long as you are physically in Texas, we can keep meeting through the summer. Traveling out of state for part of it just means a pause until you are back in Texas.
- How do I start if I have never been to counseling?
- Start with a free consultation, about fifteen minutes by phone or video. You do not need to have your story organized. Online booking opens shortly; until then, send a short note through Work With Me and I will reply with times.
