Fort Worth

Online Therapy for Fort Worth

Fort Worth has always kept its own identity inside the Metroplex. Online counseling lets you get support without leaving your corner of it, from home, campus or a parked car.

A City With Its Own Character

Fort Worth likes to call itself the place where the West begins, and it still feels distinct from its larger neighbor to the east: the Stockyards, the Cultural District, neighborhoods where families have lived for generations, and fast-growing suburbs on every edge. Whether you grew up here or moved for work, life can get full fast.

When it does, counseling does not have to mean another drive across town. Sessions are fifty minutes by secure video, wherever you are in the city or beyond, as long as you are in Texas.

Commuting Across the Metroplex

Plenty of Fort Worth residents spend serious time on I-30 or I-35W, commuting toward Dallas, Arlington or Alliance. Add school pickups and activities, and an appointment across town can feel impossible to fit in. Meeting by video means you can use a private room at home, or a parked car before you head back out.

Aviation, Military and Shift Work

Fort Worth's economy leans on aviation and aerospace, logistics around Alliance, health care, and military work at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. Plenty of those jobs come with early starts, rotating shifts, travel or deployments, which can make a standing weekly appointment hard to protect.

Video sessions take the drive out of the equation, so it is easier to fit counseling around an unusual schedule. We can talk about what is realistic for yours on the free consultation.

Young Families in Growing Suburbs

New subdivisions keep spreading outward from Fort Worth. If you are raising small children far from your own parents, juggling work and a long commute, the load can quietly pile up. You may be the one holding everyone's schedule while your own needs wait.

My work with overwhelmed mothers and young parents focuses on proactive, practical support: an hour that is yours, and small changes that fit the week you actually have.

You do not have to cross the Metroplex to take care of yourself. Fifty minutes from home is enough to start.

Students at TCU and Beyond

Students at TCU, Texas Wesleyan or Tarrant County College carry their own pressures: demanding programs, social expectations and, for many, jobs on top of classes. Online sessions fit between commitments, from a dorm room or a quiet study space, whether the struggle is anxiety before exams, homesickness or a semester that has started to slide.

Faith, If You Want It

If church is part of your family's weekly rhythm, faith can be part of counseling too. Christian counseling is available when you ask for it, with prayer or scripture alongside the clinical work. If you would rather keep faith out, it stays out entirely, and the care is the same.

Getting Started From Fort Worth

The concerns I work with include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationships, grief, transitions and burnout, using cognitive behavioral therapy and a client-centered approach. There is no office to visit in Fort Worth; every session is online while you are in Texas.

If you live closer to the middle of the Metroplex, my page for Arlington may be useful, and online therapy anywhere in Texas covers the statewide picture.

Common Questions

If I mention I am a Christian, will faith automatically be part of sessions?
No. Mentioning your faith does not commit you to anything. Faith comes into our work only if you ask for it, in the way you choose, and you can change your mind at any time.
Can my teen do sessions from home in Fort Worth?
Yes, as long as there is a private space and your teen is physically in Texas during sessions. A parent can reach out first, and on the free consultation you can ask how parents are involved. You can read more about counseling for teens before you call.
Do you take insurance?
No. The practice is self-pay. I confirm the session fee on your free consultation, and if your plan offers out-of-network benefits, you can ask me for a superbill and submit it yourself. Rates and payment has the details.
